Disabled Citizens, Inc.

A non-profit Wisconsin Corporation out of the Fox River Valley, operating in the interests of people with disabilities.

Our Objectives:

1. Promote the availability of comprehensive lifetime resources for persons with disabilities.

2. Advance public awareness at the local level and to encourage community involvement for people with disabilities.

3. Provide literature on various aspects of living with a disability through our newsletter and our website.

4. Advocate for better public accessibility in the community.

Our Involvement:

§ Publication of our monthly newsletter, D.C.I. Wheels Express.

§ Monthly meetings with programs addressing the needs and problems synonymous to disabilities, thereby creating public awareness and solutions.

§ Personal contacts and friendship with the newly disabled.

§ Fundraising through membership fees, sales, and charitable donations.

§ Local sports activities.

§ Careful attention towards promoting better accessibility in our area.
